If you are fortunate enough to own or have access to an existing area of wildlife habitat such as woodland, grassland or wetland, we can provide management planning advice to Natural England’s National Nature Reserve standard, and also assist with the practical work.
A management plan fit for a National Nature Reserve may seem like overkill, but the advantage of the standard format is that it provides a logical framework for decision-making, guiding the manager through a series of stages that identify the current state of the site, the priorities and the activities needed in order to achieve the desired outcomes.
Our staff have written management plans for at least 14 Sites of Special Scientific Interest, and would be happy to do the same for your site.
